The original aim of RLD was to reduce the debilitating, physical and emotional effects of breast cancer & related secondary lymphoedema swelling. The results were consistent, and clearly demonstrated a significant reduction in swelling, together with improvements in quality of life. RLD is often described as "the gift of hope" in a previously "hopeless" situation.  

 RLD is an adapted reflexology technique, which isolates and stimulates the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. Sally researched and developed this unique sequence, from its first principles whilst working in Cancer Care, and through extensive clinical practice.  Sally is the author of Lymph Drainage Reflexology.
