with Linda Frank, RF, NBCR, LMT, NCREd

Picture

RAC is pleased to bring you this 3-part webinar series!

Linda is a nationally & internationally published writer and presenter on reflexology with a focus on foot pain. The owner of Head to Heel Reflexology for Better Health, LLC, Linda also founded and serves as Director & Principal Educator at Reflexology Academy NW . The recipient of the most recent national Excellence in Education award, Linda brings to these webinars decades of experience as a licensed massage therapist; researcher; student of a natural foot health podiatrist; and ARCB- and NCRE-credentialed reflexologist and educator.

It is said that as many as 80% of Americans will experience foot pain at some time in their life.  That means more than three-quarters of your clients may at some point come to you with foot pain. While we reflexologists can’t diagnose or treat, we can assess.  We want to be as educated as we can be about foot pain and problems so we can help clients understand and have access to the non-surgical ways in which their pain and problems might be remedied. To advance this goal, this webinar series focuses on what you can do to:
  • Better understand foot pain;
  • Utilize techniques within our scope of practice to help alleviate foot pain and/or prevent it;
  • Know what products and resources are available for alleviating and/or preventing foot pain;
  • Educate our clients as to how they might avoid not only foot pain, but potentially other musculoskeletal problems higher in the body that might result from poor gait and/or uninformed footwear choices.
Please note: It may be helpful to you to have a foot skeleton and/or a silicone foot available on your desk for these webinars -- especially the 3rd class. Also, helpful to bring a tennis ball or a pinky ball, especially to 1st class.
WEBINAR 1: Plantar Fasciitis and five other things that might be causing the pain
Dec. 6, 2025 ~ 10-11:15 am PST

Plantar Fasciitis (PF) is one of the most commonly- diagnosed conditions of foot pain (10% of the general population). Often, something else is gets misdiagnosed as PF -- especially with about 25% of those stating the condition having self-diagnosed.  Recommended treatment varies widely even amongst doctors. In this webinar, we’ll explore:
  • some of the foot anatomy & physiology that may be at play in what’s classically described as PF pain;
  • a fascinating aspect of fascia that often plays a role not only in PF but in many other musculoskeletal issues;
  • resources to share with clients that may help support their reflexology sessions and ideally prevent PF or other foot pain from taking hold;
  • two simple techniques so often surprisingly effective in bringing tissue to a healthier, more pliable state
WEBINAR 2: Other common foot problems and how we might help them
Dec. 7, 2025 ~ 10-11:15 am PST
In this webinar, we’ll look at bunions, hammertoes, peripheral neuropathy, neuromas, and over-pronation. You’ll learn to:
  • identify gait issues, footwear, clients’ daily habits, and muscle imbalances that may be causing or contributing to these problems;
  • techniques you can use to address them;
  • techniques you can recommend to clients for self-help with these problems;
  • some surprising contributors to neuropathy.
  • products and resources you can refer clients to for alleviation or remedy of their tissue disturbances;
WEBINAR 3: Reflexes for feet, ankles, and legs, and other reflexology interventions
Dec. 8, 2025 ~ 10-11:15 am PST
As many of us know, reflexes for the feet are either missing from reflexology maps or they are literally “all over the map”. Options = opportunities, and so in this third webinar you’ll see:
  • Foot, ankle and leg & knee reflex locations on several maps;
  • The locations for these reflexes I tend to find most helpful;
  • Any techniques & resources we didn’t have time to get to in the first two classes…or that inspire or require review;
  • A simple, quick way to stop a calf cramp in seconds that can’t help but convince clients of reflexology’s often miraculous effects!

Your registration fee entitles you to receive the recorded webinars.
All students will get the recordings whether they are able to attend live or not.
