The natural health benefits of Reflexology are being sought after and enjoyed more than ever before and our organization is dedicated to expanding the public’s awareness and knowledge about Reflexology. We assist Reflexologists in California with information, networking, and continuing education opportunities with the goal of helping them maintain a successful practice. RAC was founded in 1992 and has been serving the Reflexology community in California ever since. Our Association is strong and there has never been a more exciting time to join—whatever your goals, let us help you achieve them! |
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is recognized worldwide by the public and various national health organizations as a distinct complementary practice within the holistic health field. Reflexology is not massage. Many of our health problems can be linked to stress. A body under the influence of prolonged stress is less capable of organizing its defenses against illnesses and repairing damage caused by injury. Stress can be mentally, emotionally, physically, or environmentally induced. One of the primary health benefits of Reflexology is stress reduction.
Definition of Reflexology
"Reflexology, an integrative health practice, maps a reflection of the body predominantly on the feet, hands and outer ears.
